Downtown Edmonton New Year’s Eve Fireworks! Are You READY?

How will you be ringing in 2017? Edmonton offers several fun, outdoor activities that are accessible for the whole family on New Year’s Eve. One of our favourites is the downtown fireworks!

The downtown New Year’s Eve gathering takes place at City Hall and Churchill Square. This event has something to offer for everyone: free skate rentals, ice skating, food concessions, live music, and fire pits. Two incredible fireworks shows are scheduled – one early show for the youngins and one for the night owls at midnight! Activities kick off in the early evening and go past midnight!
