  1. Nong Bu Korean Eatery

Anyone who’s visited Korea will undoubtedly rave about the incredible street food found along the shops in Seoul. Nestled into Whyte Ave, NongBu has incorporated Korean-style street food into a short, but mouthwatering menu. The rolled Kimbap – a perfect on-the-go snack in Korea – is so good it’s nearly addictive. Be warned: By the time you leave, you’ll be completely stuffed, because you’ll want to snack endlessly on the banchan between dishes

  1. Bul Go Gi House

Opened in 1973, Bul Go Gi House is Edmonton’s first authentic Korean restaurant. This is a timeless classic, with many loyal diners who have been coming for decades. Located in Bonnie Doon, this is the place to go for great bulgogi dishes. It’s also a hotspot for family dinners, which isn’t surprising because many of the menu items come in family-sized sharing portions.

  1. Korean Grill

The only thing better than great Korean food is great “all-you-can-eat” Korean food. If you’re new to Korean food, the banchan (small side dishes) at the buffet are a great way to get acquainted with the dishes. With over 50 offerings, from fried chicken and spicy spring rolls to some unique flavours like kimchi radishes and braised lotus roots, you’re sure to find something you love. The buffet price is a bit steep, but if you’re someone who loves variety, you’ll find the selection well worth the price.

  1. Lee House

The authenticity of this Korean restaurant has reviewers raving. With unassuming service and genuinely flavour-packed dishes, Lee House will keep you coming back to their two Edmonton locations. If there’s one thing you try here, it has to be their Korean fried chicken. You’ll need to go twice, though, because you also won’t want to miss out on their BBQ dishes, each with an assortment of well-paired sides to complement the spicy BBQ flavours.
